Atlantic Beach trip

What's to do when there is an "excessive heat advisory?" Go to the beach! We spent a few glorious hours on the beach near the New Bern St. access. The girls surfed, swam, and did handstands and cartwheels - so did their mum (wow!).

Silhouettes

At BEEPS camp this week, the girls created lifesized pictures of themselves after letting Ms. Lillah draw their silhouette on large sheets of paper. They proudly hung them on the walls of the kitchen.

Swim lessons

If it's summer, it's time for swim lessons at the pool.

Pinatas

Ghita's turned seven and had several friends over to celebrate. There was a huge bouncy castle/water slide, cupcakes and ice-cream, and not one but two pinatas.

Bob's visit

Prior to their recent haircuts, we spent the afternoon at the park, where the girls practiced their climbing/swinging skills.

We had parent viewing days at ballet this week. Rocio got some shots of the girls before heading in to class.

Chalk

While Lisa was in NYC for work, we had a weekend playdate at Rosemary's house. They had a big bucket of chalk, so we ended up making body outlines and filling them in - always lots of fun.
