When Linden is not focused on the TV, she does love to read books (note - we define read as the act of holding a book and flipping through the pages). Linden has a few preferred books, including Charlie Chick, Where are you from Little Goose? and any of the Maisy books. Auntie Janet has been sending her lots of books, including "Go, Maisy, Go" that has lots of little flaps that Linden can flip open and closed. We can't wait for her literacy to improve, so we can move on to more important books such as "One Hundred Years of Solitude" and "Lord Foul's Bane."

Just what the ol' readin' teacher likes to see. Next she'll be telling you the story, and hers will often be more entertaining than what's printed!
You may have to move on to Junie B. Jones before you get to One Hundred Years of Solitude though. Just a tip.
