Poor Linden: she had another ear infection. To make matters worse, we discovered that she reacts badly to cephalosporin antibiotics. Lisa woke up to find Linden with a rash around her eyelids and neck. The pediatrician directed us to keep an eye on her, in the hopes that it wouldn't get worse. Unfortunately, the rash turned into hives, and back we went to the pediatrician's office. Fortunately, by this time, her ear infection had cleared up, so we stopped the antibiotic. It will be about a week before the hives clear up completely - over the past few days, the red patches have been moving around her body. They don't seem to be too itchy for her, although I suppose that could always change.
