Seafood Festival

The twin bridges road race, always a favorite with us and family/friends, is part of the larger NC Seafood Festival. The girls are increasingly drawn to the carnival rides, and this past Sunday morning, we set them loose. They did the Ferris wheel, the slides, the rotating swing, merry-go-round, and spinning cups. New this year was the Stand-up rotating cage of too-much-g-force, the terrifying dead fall drop (aka SuperShot), and the stomach-wrenching Scrambler. They were enthusiastic about them all, except the Scrambler, which ended in tears (theirs, not mine - I was done after the drop and the rotating thing).
