This photo is about a month old, but does demonstrate that Linden is a true water girl. Here she is puttering about the swash zone on Fort Macon beach around sunset. Despite the nearby food, company (adult and child) and other land-based distractions, Linden remained focused on the ocean, to the point where she ended up with pruned hands. Alas, summer is drawing to a close and soon Linden will be restricted to indoor pools for her water activities, at least until next summer.
